The singing reality show The Voice has always defined the best and most talented singers in the country. The fact that these are “blind auditions”, with the judges facing the contestants to hear only singing voices, makes the show more appealing due to its impartial process. No matter how old or how old they look, every contestant has an equal chance on this show.
One of the candidates includes 15-year-old Ryley Tate Wilson. Ryley is a young singer from the state of Alabama heavily influenced by R&B singers like Steve Lacy, Ritt Momney and Frank Ocean. The voice judges, however, had a hard time getting over the fact that Ryley was only 15 years old.
Kelly Clarkson’s wheel fell along with new judges, Chance and Niall Horan. Niall Horan is a member of former pop group, One Direction, and he started his career auditioning on The X Factor at the age of 16. He knew how nerve-wracking it was to sing and audition in front of huge audiences. Niall was so amazed, though, because even though Ryley was nervous, the nerves weren’t obvious.
