A famous magazine has awarded the title of «prettiest woman in the world» to Ashley Graham.
Like every year, the American magazine Maxim unveiled its » Hot 100 «, the ranking of the sexiest women in the world.
And the lucky winner is plus-size model Ashley Graham, who takes first place!
For the occasion, the busty 35-year-old American is on the cover of the famous men’s monthly.
Seeing Ashey Graham alone at the top of this ranking is not insignificant because the latter is one of the most fervent defenders of the “body positive” trend, in other words the acceptance of her body.
Throughout her career, which began in the 2000s, this mother of three children has always campaigned for women to take charge of their bodies, while breaking the diktats of the fashion industry by imposing her silhouette and her shapes.
» We can consider everyone’s shape and size, gender, ethnicity and age as part of who they are, it doesn’t have to be negative or positive,» Ashley Graham says in the interview granted to the magazine, during the photo session.
“ It’s something that should be easily accepted, and we don’t need to have these conversations all the time. Our bodies are constantly changing and evolving. I used my own body as a tool to talk about those feelings ,” the model continues .
In recent years, Ashley Graham, who measures 1m77, has made the cover of many prestigious magazines, including Vogue, Glamour, Elle UK, Style Magazine, Harper’s Bazaar and Sports Illustrated.
Apart from modeling, she also has her own podcast called “Pretty Big Deal”, in which she invites personalities to come and discuss their careers and their success.
