A great lover of our animal friends, a woman, residing in Brittany , decided to bequeath a large part of her property to an association that takes care of animals, before dying.

It was his last wish!

Died on May 5, a woman bequeathed one million euros to an association for the protection of animals, report several media.

This Breton, who lived in Guidel (Morbihan), thus donated her property of 3.5 hectares, as well as two life insurance policies and all of her bank accounts to the Stéphane Lamart association.

Based in Boissy-Saint-Léger (Val-de-Marne), the latter struggles daily for the defense and protection of animal rights.

Its founder explained to our colleagues from Le Parisien that this legacy would make it possible in particular to welcome new animals, victims of abuse.

The property will thus be transformed into a refuge, specifies Christophe Buseniers, the general manager of the association, interviewed by Ouest France .

The organization also plans to hire a couple of caretakers who would live permanently and graciously in the house of the deceased to maintain the premises and manage a team of volunteers in the service of the animals collected.

During her lifetime, the donor had already distinguished herself by her generosity by welcoming on her land a dozen donkeys seized for mistreatment.

The Stéphane Lamart association has also indicated that this benefactress has also donated 140,000 euros to the “Little sisters of the poor” in Rennes.

A generous soul who had her heart on her sleeve!
