“My dog usually came back very quickly when he heard my whistle. That’s what worried me that night, he didn’t come back ,” he explained.
Since his disappearance, Nicolas has multiplied the research. For 50 days, he did not give up and posted more than 2,000 wanted notices in the streets of the city, helped by associations such as the animal protection brigade. Nicolas did everything to find his dog , which he considers “a member of his family”. In parallel with his personal research, he also filed a complaint at the police station.

Thanks to a report posted on social networks, a person identified the dog which was held on a leash by an individual in Sarcelles station. The man was arrested by the BAC police and if he is the one who stole the dog, he faces up to three years in prison and a fine of 45,000 euros.
Nicolas was immediately alerted and was able to find his dog within the brigade, very moved.
“I am happy and overwhelmed with emotion. It was a nightmare that lasted fifty days. From now on, we will do everything to help the cause of stolen dogs” , assured Nicolas.
