‘World’s Most Responsible Kitten’ Found Watching Over Orphaned Litter

In the United States, a six-week-old kitten has been voted the most responsible cat in the world. The reason ? The furball watched over three orphan kittens.

On May 20, an animal rescue group in Kansas City (USA) declared that a six-week-old black kitten was “the most responsible kitten in the world”. And the least we can say is that the ball of fur fully deserves this title.

The kitten watches over three… orphan kittens
The cat, named Binx, was found watching over three tiny kittens in the middle of the street. The passerby who spotted the four felines contacted the association after realizing that the mother cat had abandoned the litter.

Within the shelter, the animals received the necessary care after being examined. The young kittens — Ollie, Frankie and Ziggy — were born about two weeks ago. For the moment, they are bottle-fed with adapted milk.

For his part, Binx does not take his eyes off his young companions: » He tries to take care of them as best he can ,» said the spokesperson for the rescue group in an email sent to HuffPost.

Volunteers don’t know if Binx is the big brother of the three orphaned kittens . One thing is certain: the ebony-haired cat takes great care of them. The siblings, who are doing well, have been placed in foster care. When they are weaned, the baby cats will be offered for adoption.
