In England, premature twins reunite after spending two weeks in different incubators. The photos of their reunion are likely to melt your heart.
It’s no secret that the twins have a unique and close relationship. Little Neve and her brother Louie are no exception.
And the least we can say is that these twins are true warriors. They were born prematurely at 30 weeks due to a ruptured placenta. Neve and her little brother showed up ten weeks in advance. Their mother had to give birth urgently by caesarean section.
At birth, the girl weighed only 650 grams. For his part, Louie weighed 1.3 kilos.
On the same day, the infants were placed in separate incubators. Doctors said their chances of survival were slim. Indeed, the little girl was undernourished. Little Louie was suffering from a problem with one of his lungs.
Fortunately, the twins clung to life. Last Monday, after two weeks of separation, the brother and sister were placed in the same incubator. Their reunion was very moving, as evidenced by these images.
In the photographs, the babies hug each other tenderly and seem to kiss each other. These pictures were shared on the Facebook account of Chris, the father of the twins. The father, originally from Liverpool, believes that this reunion is a “real miracle” .
Newborns will have to wait a little longer before going home.
